Lecture, three hours. Introductory exploration of field of urban humanities before backdrop of Nordic model of sustainability through case study of city of Copenhagen. Investigation of how city's human-centered design, planning, and general sustainability are reflected in Scandinavian cultural traditions in architecture, design, film, history, literature, television, urban planning, and beyond.
